  Really tasty boneless wings - I tried the coconut (seasonal) and the teriyaki. My man ordered the garlic parm and the Thai Chili, but unfortunately he got the same order as mine.... good thing they were delicious but yeah, wrong order! I ordered the boozey iced coffee and asked for it hot - was surprised they have ICED coffee, but... not HOT... Odd but ok. Waitress was very nice and we didn't point out the error in getting the wrong order... was just not worth it on a lazy Sunday and we were looking for a quick bite after a haircut next door!
  Again, super tasty, nice atmosphere yet pretty small if you aren't dining at the bar - will sit there next time.

  Personable employees; cook(s) will even come out and talk to you about the sauces and those amazing double baked french fries!  Menu has a good mix on it for kiddos too (if they don't like wings). Small bar area with tv's and large tv's in dining area if you want to grab some sports games.  If you haven't been ... what are you waiting for?!

  Absolutely love living so close to Wing Itz. I've loved their Portsmouth location for takeout and this location is even better if you want a low key night out. The medium buffalo sauce is amazing and great for tenders on a salad. My favorite is the spicy Thai for wings - never had anything else like it!

  It's sad when a place you love starts to tank. I've been going there since it opened and frequently recommend it to multiple people in multiple communities. The owners seem awesome, so I mean no disrespect, but there are two primary factors that are killing the place: the service and the fries.
  
  The atmosphere is fine. The chicken? Yeah, they know what they're doing. They're butchers.
  
  The fries used to be the primary draw for me, but now it seems the oil isn't getting changed regularly or something. Granted, I have no background in restaurants, so I'm merely speculating, but there is a definite and negative change in quality of the fries recently.
  
  And the service. Ugh, the service. If the service was better, I would not care about the food quality decreasing or the music playing so loudly I couldn't converse with the person literally two feet away. But the service has been on a steady decline for far too long.
  
  I watched people enter without being greeted. We waited WAY too long for our beverage order to be taken. I had to get my own silverware because the server never came back. I watched an employee (off the clock, I assume) sit at a table and yell to the cooks. I watched the two servers chat for a while behind the bar while I was waiting to order another beverage (which I never had the opportunity to do). There were several unhappy-looking guests, so I'm confident this wasn't just my opinion. And the place wasn't busy, so the slow service didn't seem justified.
  
  Unfortunately, this seems the new norm with the Dover Wing Itz location, which truly saddens me because I was a regular and really loved the place. Good service buys a lot of forgiveness for other shortcomings.
  
  More than a criticism, this is a plea to the owners to staff another server or better train the ones you have. (Of note, the long-haired brunette is great.) I want to be a regular again because it's fun, has solid food, and has great service. But as it is now, I don't have a reason to return.

  fresh food, delicious drinks, and the staff is always so friendly! Not to mention the restaurant is always CLEAN which is a huge plus!!
